Research project
Scalar Flower.
A birth-chart instrument that publishes its own failed tests. What it is, what its launch essay reports, and what it sells.
What it is
Scalar Flower describes itself as a research project that computes a birth chart from real planetary positions (Swiss Ephemeris, DE440) and presents it as a three-dimensional field. Its tagline is “a field of choice, not a forecast.” It publishes a public ledger of its tests and a series of field notes. scalarflower.com
What the launch essay reports
In “An Astrology That Can Say No to Itself” (Substack, July 2, 2026), I describe the project and its tests. Eleven tests were pre-registered, with pass and fail criteria locked before any data ran. Most failed. Four survived.
The essay leads with a failure. A pre-registered test on 21,165 timed births from the Gauquelin database produced p = 0.003. A confound control committed in writing beforehand then showed the signal was a calendar coincidence, and the result fell to p = 0.83. The project publishes it as a null.
What it sells
The site sells readings and a membership; its home page lists a single field reading at $19. Treat it as a commercial project. The ledger sets out the tests, nulls and retractions.
It does not claim that astrology works. It reports what the project says it tested and what it says it found. Related: my Sacred Technology page. My roles and interests are on the disclosures page.
